America’s Beauty Show listened to what hairdressers wanted and brought it all to African-American Hair 2008! Jacqueline Tarrant told stylists not only what they need to know to keep clients in the chair but how to grow their business through a thorough knowledge of the competition. James Adams gave attendees solutions to getting gorgeous color AND stunningly soft, relaxed hair then showed off the sexy results. And, of course, every hairdresser wants to know how to translate the latest in high-end celebrity cuts for their clients!
That’s why America’s Beauty Show brought star stylist Dr. Boogie in for the play-by-play on what he does for clients like Eve and Kimora Lee Simmons. Attendees had full and free access to special stage shows sponsored by Clairol Professional, Namastè and SoftSheen-Carson who demonstrated the latest styles, colors and techniques for African-American clients- effectively bringing great hair from the stage to the salon.
